Java IP chatting Program

I want to write some programm called IP chatting program.!

But I have no knowledge on Java networking API.Which books are helpful for me .

My program is :

ip chatting of same network or different network

firstly I want to write Same network chatting program.

i want to scan of firstly connected sam netowork.

Then connect and chat easy .

Please Help me to improve my idea of chatting with TCP/IP chatting Progarm

Chat program လုပ်မယ်ဆိုရင်

1. HTTP long polling နဲ့လုပ်လို့ရတယ်
2. TCP Socket နဲ့ လုပ်လို့ရတယ်
