Tbit Solution adapts the agile trend, following the iterative and incremental approach. We do not finish the project earlier but it is our regular practice to deliver earlier whatever we develop. And, delivering a part of system, testable, usable and adding business value. Of course, we do not gather the requirement and just discover it.

1. Project Manager Open Source [1 position]

Responsibilities:

The job scope will cover the complete full system development lifecycle, from systems requirements gathering, design, development, testing, integration and UAT to the implementation and support of the Web Application for the project.
Leads and coordinates software design, development, and testing teams
Requirements analysis and communication
Liaison and contract negotiation with outside organizations who will be partners or customers to reach contractual agreement on scope, schedule, deliverables, intellectual property considerations, and financial compensation.
Develops required materials including technical specifications, project and resource plans, project updates, and presentation materials.
Liaises with current and potential project partners
Risk assessment and reporting
Provides expert technical leadership to the development team
Coordinates and tracks project deliverables from multiple teams by defining, implementing, and updating a project reporting process
Develops short term and long-term project plans, priorities and objectives
Manage project schedules, quality, communication and risk plans
Participate in project plans, milestones and deliverables in consultation with client and team of programmers



Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis with regard to schedules, manpower and quality
Assist with regular reporting on project status
Initiate, organize and attend project meetings and ensure project teams are kept fully informed about project progress, tasks and involvement

Requirements:

A minimum of five years experience in both management of software projects and functional management of software development teams.
A background combining post-graduate education, hands-on design or development experience, and project management at a senior level, including experience in managing the business aspects of software projects, and demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
Prior experience managing staff.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and credibly.
A graduate degree in an area that covers project management as a topic of academic study (e.g., computer science, cognitive science, information studies, business, engineering) or the equivalent in experience (more than 3 years managing a major multi-partner project).
Expertise in the areas of open source software, user experience design, agile software methodologies, and accessible technology.
Demonstrated experience successfully managing software projects in a virtual environment.
Desirable: knowledge of the Myanmar IT Community.
Excellent client and people management skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong web development technical background
Preferably experienced with Wordpress
Preferably experienced with Linux and other Open Source tools
Willingness to learn and expand on skills
Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver complex projects under time pressure
Experienced in managing the delivery of multiple complex web-based projects at the same time
Experienced in delivering regular reporting and management information relating to the effectiveness of project delivery
Experienced in dealing with all business stakeholders and updating them regularly on project delivery

2. Open source senior programmer [4 position]

Responsibilities:

As a senior open source programmer in open source team you will play a key role in the definition, design, and implementation of our products.

The ideal candidate will be extremely proficient in the design and implementation of modern web applications & will be an expert in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQl, PHP) software design and development.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical field
Good understanding for Web 2.0, web 3.0 concept and standards
Expert skills in Linux, Apache, MySQl, PHP
Expert skills in JavaScript & strong in Ajax
Direct experience with jQuery, Prototype, & Fuel framework or CI
Strong analytical mind and technical knowledge
Able to work independently and as a team member
Able to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements
Self-motivated, teamwork, hardworking and able to work in fast-paced environment with deadlines
Good interpersonal, analytical and solution formulation skill
Fast learner with passion on latest technologies and business applications
